Mrs Ammini serves as the Chief Patron of We Grow Forest Foundation. She plays a key role in the organisation, imparting her wisdom on several issues concerning nature conservation. Mrs Ammini is a retired government official from the Government of Kerala. She brings a wealth of experience of more than 45 years to the organisation. She is a true nature lover, committed to making the planet go green. Mrs Ammini is also involved in women empowerment activities conducted by the Women Circle wing of We Grow Forest Foundation.

Chairwoman

Dr Meera Asmi serves as the Chairwoman of We Grow Forest Foundation. She is the organisation's guiding force, supporting the broader campaign's function, promoting the activities, and encouraging all with a vision and guidance. She leads We Grow Forest Foundation's eMagazine "The Sound of Forest" as the Managing Editor and writes articles about the environment and urban forestry. She is a Post Graduate in Management, specialised in Human Resources. She has more than 20 years of experience in the management sector and community development.

Dr Aparna Anand is the founder and Managing Trustee of We Grow Forest Foundation. She leads the Foundation's corporate strategy and efforts that enable the organisation to deliver on its mission and impact. Aparna brings over 18 years of experience in corporate management, philanthropy, and non-profit partnerships. She is also the Managing Trustee of Environmental NGOs of India (ENGOI). She is the Kerala State Vice President of WICCI - Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry - A National Business Chamber for Women.

Apart from being a Member Trustee, Dr Merin Jacob serves as the Community Engagement, and Club Manager of We Grow Forest Foundation. She strives to manage the strategies for people's engagement, both in and out of the workplace, creating opportunities to support the organisation's sustainable goals and implementing and guiding activities that promote club events. Dr Merin is also responsible for supervising community relations volunteer activities and initiatives to provide leadership and support to the Community Engagement programs and guides the communications & promotions team. Dr Merin Jacob completed her Master's in Community Science.

Anjali Asmi is one of the founder trustees of We Grow Forest Foundation. As the youngest member of the We Grow forest Foundation team, Anjali works as the Director of Education and Publications. She understands the organisation's role in building a team that accelerates growth. Anjali is genuine about making a positive impact in people's lives through her work and is excited to drive this by being in the Foundation. She is also the founder trustee of Environmental NGOs of India. Anjali is pursuing her Graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Sijin Gopinath is an Indian artist based in Dubai known for his busy, light-hearted doodles that spread across walls, rooms, cars and even his own custom-doodled attire. Fast emerging in the international art market, Sijin Gopinath collaborates with well-known brands from the UK, UAE and the rest of the world. His art is characterised by tightly packed and visually overwhelming arrangements of themes from the nature drawn with thick black lines on white backgrounds. Sijin Gopinath is a nature lover and environmentalist and is the flag bearer of We Grow Forest Foundation as the Global Good Will Ambassador. He endorses the beauty of nature in all his artworks and contributes religiously towards planting and all good green initiatives for the environment. Sijin Gopinathan has recently drawn much attention as he has created a masterpiece by unleashing his doodling skills on a car, making heads turn and hearts skip a beat. His live doodle sketch left the audiences dumbfounded and swept art lovers off their feet, and such was the magnifying effect of his artwork. He showcased his talent at an event held in World Art Dubai 2021, and one has to see to believe the kind of masterpiece he has created, which amalgamates the works of five famous international artists, namely Vincent Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, Michelangelo, Johannes Vermeer and Leonardo Da Vinci. Audiences at the live event were left mesmerised by the creation. This is a one of its kind art event that has been held for the first time in the GCC region. Sijin specialises in UI designing, Illustrator, Doodling & Contemporary Painting, and his work has been displayed in many art projects in Dubai, the United States and New Zealand. Sijin has also held many international art exhibitions in different countries. Apart from being a fine artist, he has also given a lending hand as an art director to many social initiatives held in the city like Support Kerala Event - Kerala Flood 2018, which was held in Dubai outlet mall, Kids workshop for Makers Faire - Hamdan Foundation held in World Trade Centre and 48 National Day Live painting - with 48 artists on a 15-meter canvas, the event of which was held in Safari Mall Dubai. Sijin has also been credited with introducing conductive (electric ink) paint to the Ministry of Education Dubai. Sijin being an Indian has shone in the world of art, and his impeccable work has made him a known artist on a global platform.

As a Communications Associate, Aarya Asmi takes care of the administration of all internal and external communications for the organisation, creates affiliations with organisations and individuals, and ensures consistent and engaging communication. She assists in establishing calls, newsletters, e-mails, and other modes of communications with the outside world, analyses data, and focuses on improving performance and processes to better support volunteers. Aarya is currently associating with We Grow Forest Foundation because of her interest in forests and ecological conservation.

Aarsha Asmi is an environmental conservation activist and currently is the Fundraising Associate of We Grow Forest Foundation. She is in charge of overseeing the events carried out and actively assists in fundraising programs. Aarsha is very good at working with other departments to raise awareness on environmental issues and ensure goodwill among the general public. She is a nature activist, has a strong desire for nature conservation, and encourages the importance of conservation practices among her friends and relatives.

As the Manager – Club Membership, Gayathri Sairam oversees all the activities of the club memberships. She is the first point of contact for all public inquiries into club membership. Her job profile includes supporting the broader club activities, urban/street forestry, managing club registrations, and data management. Gayathri is a motivator who inspires her team with a clear vision of the organisation's future. She is a Bhajan Singer and spends her free time exploring her skills in organic farming, indoor gardening, and travelling.

Mathangi S R works as Operations Associate at We Grow Forest Foundation. She oversees all the planting activities of the organisation. She is very virtuous in working with individuals & organisations in building forests and ensures goodwill among all the stakeholders. Mathangi consistently strives to improve business operations and process efficiency for We Grow Forest Foundation.

She is associating with the We Grow Forest Foundation because of her real passion for environment conservation, especially trees. She is very much into sustainable habits and loves planting and nurturing flora. She feels peace of mind by seeing and feeling the pristine wilderness. Mathangi is an undergraduate student in BA Sociology at Kerala University. She is committed to helping people make practical changes at home, in businesses, and communities by giving sound advice regarding nature’s contributions. Mathangi is an ardent lover of world cinema and is also a good photographer. She coordinates and leads outdoor activities of We Grow Forest Foundation and has actively participated in various environmental projects conducted by forest conserving NGOs and other independent groups, primarily working to restore greenery in urban areas.

Nandana works as Operations Associate at We Grow Forest Foundation. She coordinates landscaping projects focusing on restoring greenery in urban areas. She provides strategic direction and operational oversight to the organisation's landscape management programs.

Nandana is responsible for identifying approved plants and trees for the site, developing permits, preparing landscaping plans, inspecting tree health and safety and responding to customer inquiries. She is committed to helping people make practical changes at home, in businesses, and in communities, restoring greenery in urban places and providing a more relaxed atmosphere for humans and animals.

Nandana is an undergraduate student in BA Sociology at Kerala University. She believes sustainable cities hold the key to a better future. She is an ardent lover of painting and is also a good artist. She is always into the creative side and is very passionate about her works. Nandana loves travelling and exploring new places and cultures.

As an operations associate at We Grow Forest Foundation, Drishya is responsible for the development of planning, directing, implementing and coordinating the organization's activities and projects. She is also a vital part of the Carbon Neutrality Programme of We Grow Forest Foundation. She handles various nature conservation programs, seminars and projects. Her passion for nature conversation and earnest interest in the concept of urban forestry made her associate with We Grow Forest Foundation. Drishya is a postgraduate in Environmental Sciences from Pondicherry University. In her free time, she loves to travel and watch movies.

Tanisha Bhatia is a true naturalist and is a dedicated environmentalist focusing on the field of climate change. She works as Operations Associate at, We Grow Forest Foundation. She is in charge of creating awareness programmes about reforestation and climate change among youth and children by organising various nature camps and conservation activities.

Tanisha is highly passionate about raising awareness among the local communities, especially farmers, regarding environmental conservation and climate change mitigation through carbon credit trading. She has a vast knowledge of Western Ghats' flora and fauna and has had experience in trekking and conservation activities.

Tanisha is a Postgraduate in Environmental Science from JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, Haryana. She is a keen learner who is passionate about learning and exploring new technologies.

Apart from being a Member Trustee, Leena Nair works as a finance manager, in charge of the financial accounts. She is responsible for recording and maintaining all financial aspects of the organisation's programs. She ensures that reporting is completed and submitted on time. Leena is a Postgraduate in Business Administration from the University of Kerala. Apart from being the Finance Manager, Leena is also the Trustee of We Grow Forest Foundation. Her passion for nature conversation and earnest interest in the concept of urban forestry made her associate with We Grow Forest Foundation.

Gayathri A R works as Operations Associate at We Grow Forest Foundation. She takes care of Marine Littering & Sustainable Beach Management projects. She coordinates, manages and executes clean-up activities and awareness campaigns for the Sea of Change programme. She is indulged in handling projects related to waste management, marine littering, ecosystem restoration, and other related efforts. Gayathri is an undergraduate student in BA Sociology at Kerala University. She is an artist with a deep passion for nature.

Being a nature enthusiast, she is concerned about the current state of the environment and strives to identify long-term solutions. She brings up solutions that embrace conservation, restoration, and improved land management activities that shoot up carbon storage or avoid greenhouse gas emissions. Through various projects, she is also responsible for improving global forest cover.

Soorya is responsible for conducting campaigns, workshops, seminars, and awareness classes on green consciousness. She builds a nature concerning mind in every individual by shifting people's perspectives and urging them to follow eco-friendly behaviours. Soorya is an undergraduate student in BA Sociology in Kerala University. Being a passionate nature photographer and a researcher, she educates people more about building a healthy environment.

Akshay Krishna has been a key member of We Grow Forest Foundation's design team on major projects since its inception. As Principal Architect in charge of design in the Thiruvananthapuram office, he works closely with the design teams on architectural assignments as well as master planning, landscape architecture and interior design efforts. He is one of the principals who created and developed the firm's ability to Design Complete Environments.

Akshay loves to call himself a Landscaping Artist and is very fond of creating and elevating new ideas in landscaping. He has completed his B. Arch (Bachelor in Architecture) from CAT college (College of Architecture), Thiruvananthapuram. Apart from his technical career, he is very passionate about Mother Earth. Akshay is a brilliant mural painter who enjoys drawing, sketching and doodling.

Abhishek Kuttan serves as Landscaping Architect at We Grow Forest Foundation. He has always taken pride in loving and treating the land with the utmost care and respect. Abhishek is responsible for constantly embracing the latest technologies to build creative, unique, and scalable solutions in the landscaping department. He strives to create beautiful spaces for guests to enjoy and also wants to move towards more self-sufficiency.

Having completed his Graduation in Architecture from CAT college (College of Architecture), Thiruvananthapuram, Abhishek pursued his career with the Landscaping Department at We Grow Forest Foundation. His strengths are a focussed approach towards quality and effective utilisation of resources. Abhishek is highly enthusiastic about the environment and planet earth.

Samson completed his BBA with Logistics and Supply Chain Management and did his MBA in Marketing and Operations Management at Amity University Delhi. Juan is also involved in providing assistance with the creation and design of eco-friendly, energy-efficient sustainable buildings and community sites.

Dasarath N V is the Manager of the Green Entertainment Department of We Grow Forest Foundation. He is responsible for planning, organising and conducting nature conservation programs and activities, guiding trekking groups, and other green consciousness building activities. He focuses on inspiring the participants to the serene wildness, giving a unique insight into the ecosystems of the destination and motivating them to take an active role in preserving the wilderness for a better tomorrow. He has completed his Graduation in Forestry from Dehradun. He enjoys hiking and travelling, pursuing his genuine passion for nature.

Yasir Muhammad works as Operations Manager with We Grow Forest Foundation. He is a Civil Engineering Consultant by profession, working with various clients in Indian Operations and the Middle East to provide engineering advice and technical solutions on different projects. The profile involves multiple tasks, including coordinating teams, preparing documentation, and developing project plans. He works with clients to assess their needs and translate them into designs, equipment, or new systems. Yasir manages project timelines from the initial concept stage to completion and oversees all developments.

He attends meetings with clients, architects, appropriate authorities, and other stakeholders as deemed essential to create a good rapport with them to fully understand their requirements, provide accurate solutions, and provide them with progress updates along the way. He is often labelled as an adventurer and an artist, as he enjoys living in the moment and loves experimenting and exploring the natural environment. He is mostly drawn to creative pursuits and aesthetics, which is usually reflected in his professional work as he sees the world in technicolour. He has strong interpersonal and project management skills, works effectively in a fast-paced environment, and is proficient in using computer software.

As the Director of the Creative Studio, Rahul R.V brings deep expertise in the design and production of visual materials and media used for promotion, broadcast, web development, and the design & production of eMagazine from the Foundation. He works directly with other team members to help us grow our impact and nature conservation in the creative media and build digital connections. Rahul is the first point of contact for all web and visual media-related queries, and he guides the rest of the team on creative department matters. He is passionate about travelling and exploring new places.

Syed Ali serves as Secretary to the Board of Trustees and acts as Chief Executive Officer of the organisation. He is a management consultant by profession and an environmentalist at heart. As a Secretary, Syed provides advice and guidance to the Managing Trustee, Board of Trustees, other Advisory Board Members, and the Executive Management Team. He ensures that the Foundation's activities are conducted with integrity, accountability, and in accordance with national standards and regulations. Syed Ali has completed his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Derby, Derbyshire, United Kingdom.

Rahul Goud works as an Operations Associate and coordinates multiple projects in our organisation, making sure that they benefit each other by aligning with the sustainable goals. He is tasked with developing activities to support the organisation's nature conservational activities and creating and managing long-term justifiable nature goals. He is also in charge of developing operating plans for different programs and activities and finding nature conservation funding proposals. Rahul is a Chemical Engineer from Gujarat Technological University, currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management.

Rony is an ardent nature photographer and a technology enthusiast who provides the latest technical guidance to the team’s nature building activities.
