We Grow Forest Foundation is a registered non-profit organisation founded by a group of women to foster a public understanding of the forest ecosystem to make the planet green, facilitate carbon neutrality and save the natural habitats for generations to come.
The motto is to protect the natural habitat, reduce carbon footprint & ensure reforestation through urban forestry and related efforts.
We are a Carbon – Neutral Organisation, accredited by Environmental NGOs of India (ENGOI), committed to combating climate change through tree planting and other sustainable efforts. We work with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to achieve a better and sustainable future for all.
We gather & coordinate sustainable efforts worldwide through We Grow Forest Club & Chapters, thereby enabling every citizen, family, company, & organisation to take action on nature preservation & sustainable practices.
We welcome nature lovers, tree huggers, and environmentalists to be a part of this mission to make our planet a better place to live.

What is Carbon-Neutral Organisation
Carbon-Neutral Organisation refers to a organisation in which net carbon emissions is zero. The amount of carbon emissions we remove from the atmosphere equals the amount of carbon emissions we emit. Trees are natural carbon absorbers and help to clean the air. Planting tree helps sequester carbon because trees use carbon dioxide to build their trunks, branches, roots and leaves. Our tree planting activities enables carbon offsetting, achieving carbon neutrality. We help businesses and organisations to carry out mandatory environmental assessments to reduce their carbon footprint.

Message from Chairwoman and Managing Trustee
- We've always believed that there is a nature-loving self in every individual. People from around the world wish to contribute to ways to conserve the environment.
We Grow Forest Foundation is a social change organisation that inspires every Individual to recognise their unique part in nature conservation. There is hope and opportunity in the face of climate change, and our collective effort can make the change that is now the need of the hour.
We work with local businesses to help them re-imagine themselves as agents of social and ecological change. We invite them to join our cause and protect nature through their services, products, and community interactions. We want them to be a part of the ecosystem restoration and regeneration of forests. 2021 gave us many beautiful alliances with the local communities and businesses who were happy to plant with us and grow their own green spaces. We brought a sustainable change in their business by introducing our InfiCard. This digital switch helped their business to grow and reduced the paper consumption, which added to our carbon footprint reduction goal.
The human population has jolted to 8 billion, and with the diminishing natural resources and withering environment, our planet is under immense pressure. Conservation is not a fad, but it’s an urgent necessity that everyone should be incorporating into their daily lives. We Grow Forest aims to include every human being in this diligent ecosystem restoration plan to build a resilient planet.
We are envisaging a series of activities and projects in 2022 that align with our nation’s COP26 pledge. We are a carbon-neutral organisation accredited by ENGOI, offering carbon offsetting projects for corporates, organisations and others to reduce their net-carbon emissions. We have also joined the Green India Mission project and committed to plant 10 million trees by 2030 across the nation.
We are subtly assembling green warriors to orate environmental issues and climate change through our upcoming Green Voyage 2022. The journey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir aims to cultivate Green Consciousness among people and to choose green mobility methods to reduce carbon footprints.
We organise the first-ever International Conference on Environment and Sustainability as a step towards motivating and empowering policymakers and stakeholders of the environment to join and actively take part in the revolution for a better environment and a sustainable future.
A lot is in store for our communities to enhance the knowledge and awareness of living sustainably and protecting biodiversity. The year 2021 for We Grow Forest Foundation was interesting, challenging, rewarding, refreshing and demanding. The driving force to keep this NGO with projects and programmes day after day was from the pure inspiration we get from nature.
We Grow Forest Foundation gives everyone a chance to be a part of this enthusiastic group of nature lovers led by women for building resilient communities. We are here to restore our beautiful planet, considering all the living and non-living beings on it. Let’s never give up on the future of any species.
