Young Environmental Ambassador

What is the Young Environmental Ambassador Programme?

We Grow Forest Young Environmental Ambassador Programme is a one-year leadership journey crafted for passionate individuals; especially students and youth; who are committed to creating real, measurable environmental impact in their communities. This transformational experience nurtures purpose-driven leadership and ecological citizenship, placing participants at the core of We Grow Forest Foundation’s youth leadership circle.

Ambassadors become the voice, action-arm, and inspiration behind the Foundation’s mission, actively engaging in impactful projects related to climate action, biodiversity conservation, sustainability, circular economy, and environmental education; all aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This program is especially beneficial for students aspiring to join the We Connect UN Programme, as it builds a strong portfolio of environmental commitment, fosters global sustainability exposure, enhances leadership confidence, and supports every step, including the visa process.

Ambassadors lead projects, raise awareness, and promote climate-positive action across schools, colleges, and local communities. They help drive sustainable change through consistent efforts, collaboration, and innovation. Above all, the program embodies dedication, responsibility, and a lifelong commitment to environmental restoration. It calls upon individuals to embrace meaningful service, make principled decisions, and lead their communities toward a greener and more resilient future.

Why It Matters

In a world where the climate crisis is no longer a distant threat but a daily reality, youth leadership has never been more vital. The planet needs voices that are bold, fresh, and fearless; voices that can inspire action, ignite communities, and reimagine solutions.

The We Grow Forest Foundation Young Environmental Ambassador Programme is built on the belief that change begins with commitment. It empowers young people to take their passion for the planet and turn it into purpose-driven action. From rising sea levels to vanishing green spaces, today’s environmental challenges demand not just awareness; but leadership that is informed, engaged, and compassionate.

This program about stepping up to protect what matters, to lead where others follow, and to build a future rooted in resilience and sustainability. Because when young people lead, the world listens; and change begins.
